Customize Branding
You can update the Ciso platform to match your company's branding. This can promote the sense of security for your users, increasing their willingness to input and store information in the platform.
To update your branding settings, head over to Global Settings > Branding
Setting a Custom Site Title
To update the site title, follow these steps:
- In the top navigation panel, click the cogwheel and then click Global Settings
- In the left-hand side menu bar, select Branding
- In the field labelled "Site Title", enter your new Site Title.
- Press OK to submit the form.
Your custom site title will be shown in prominent places, e.g. the login screen and the top-menu navigation bar (if no logotype is set). The site title will also be visible in the website's title (which is shown on when hovering over a tab that has the website, for example).
Setting a Custom Logotype
Ciso has the option to upload custom logotypes. Your logotype will be shown in prominent places, e.g. the login screen and the top-menu navigation bar, instead of your company name or site title. The logotypes are theme-exclusive: if only a light-mode logotype is set the logo will only show up in light-mode; dark-mode will keep the company name or site title.
To update the logotypes, follow these steps:
-
In the top navigation panel, click click the cogwheel and then click Global Settings
-
In the left-hand side menu bar, select Branding
-
In the field labelled "Logotype", click "Upload file".
- Make sure to choose a logo that works well on light backgrounds
-
In the field labelled "Logotype for dark backgrounds", click "Upload file".
- Make sure to choose a logo that works well on dark backgrounds
-
Press OK to submit the form.
Allowed formats: JPEG, PNG, SVG, GIF Maximum file size: 8192 KB
Upcoming feature: Setting Theme Colors
The option to set theme colors is in development. When it arrives it will be found under Global Settings > Branding. Light- and dark-themed logotypes will be used with the current default themes for ESM (light) and ECC (dark).
